 | Victor Narl @2025-06-30 06:43:40 UTC | @Alan Rotoi, well, I just got used to playing in native on my Pentium 4, especially since it works with other cars. In native, the feeling is completely different. It's very authentic — and I managed to solve the problem as described in the post: https://forum.stunts.hu/index.php?topic=1583.0 I completely cleared my AUTOEXEC.BAT (AUTOEXEC.NT) and now everything works. Thanks to the professionals. |

 | Alan Rotoi @2025-06-29 21:04:14 UTC | Oooh! Can't you use DOSBox for this race? |
 | Victor Narl @2025-06-29 20:13:08 UTC | @Alan Rotoi, also, the stopwatch at the top of the screen is completely invisible (or illegible) in either EGA or CGA mode (probably due to the visualization of the top of the car body), although in other cars, everything is fine. You have to remove all the drawing with the letter "D" to keep track of the seconds in the race. |
 | Alan Rotoi @2025-06-29 18:57:32 UTC | @Victor Narl, hmm, probably it's because of the 4 sphere wheels? |
 | Victor Narl @2025-06-29 16:37:03 UTC | @Duplode, thanks for the congratulations. |
 | Victor Narl @2025-06-29 16:36:05 UTC | @Alan Rotoi, your car Baronetti does not work in native (without DOSBox) - Error: "Out of memory reserving". I had to lower the setting to EGA to run it. All other cars work, only yours does not. Perhaps you overloaded the driver's cabin rendering too much. |
 | Duplode @2025-06-29 11:55:15 UTC | Congratulations @Victor Narl! While back when I first tried the Xylocaine I found it a somewhat strange car to drive, I'm now growing to like it more and more — its cornering behaviour is pretty interesting! @Cas: Indeed, that one lap was right on the edge! I noticed that at the time I drove it, but assumed it would be acceptable given the verification method. |
 | Alan Rotoi @2025-06-28 22:39:17 UTC | Yes, this car has a weird grip behavior, so I was kinda slow in the corners, mostly at the beginning. Not a fan of this car because it inherited a "feeling" from the Corvette ZR1: the "heaviness". |
 | Victor Narl @2025-06-28 11:25:07 UTC | @Alan Rotoi, thanks for the congratulations. Congratulations to you too on a great race. And I was lucky again - on this track, everything was decided by the starting acceleration and fast grass. |
 | Alan Rotoi @2025-06-28 01:42:05 UTC | Congrats @Victor Narl and @Duplode! Xylocaine is an old car but still has some twists to know. |
 | Cas @2025-06-27 02:34:56 UTC | Anyway, it's a superseded replay |
 | Cas @2025-06-27 02:34:37 UTC | It sure was a very enjoyable race, indeed! Thanks, @Igor, for the track and congrats to @Victor Narl, @Alan Rotoi and @Duplode for reaching the podium! All replays have been verified and published. @Duplode, there's an interesting case with one of your superseded replays, what I call a "virtual off-road moment": all frames are valid, yet in between two frames, the car is theoretically off-road. I remember Paleke once rejected a replay of mine because of this, ha ha, but I think it's valid in R4K. |
 | Igor @2025-06-26 08:30:49 UTC | Thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed it @Duplode! |
 | Duplode @2025-06-23 23:54:17 UTC | This is an enjoyable track for NoRH, which fits the Xylocaine nicely. Good job, @Igor! I'll surely come back for another run |
 | Cas @2025-06-03 18:43:33 UTC | Welcome to R4K, @HerrNove! |
 | Alan Rotoi @2025-06-03 18:09:00 UTC | Welcome @HerrNove! Fasten your seatbelt and keep one wheel on/over the track! |
 | KyLiE @2025-06-02 10:18:35 UTC | Welcome @HerrNove! I've just verified your replay. |
 | HerrNove @2025-06-02 00:17:57 UTC | Hello everyone. I'm not an expert at OWOOT racing, but I hope that my replay is acceptable (borderline moment at 1:08, but I should have managed to keep the car on track). |
